10 May 2017 Former CRM Director and Principal Investigator, Professor Charles ffrench-Constant has been elected to the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences. Fellowships are awarded for or contribution to biomedical and health research, the generation of new knowledge in medical sciences and its translation into benefits to society. CRM Director Stuart Forbes said “we are delighted that Charles has been elected by the Academy of Medical Sciences, this is testament to his internationally outstanding research in the field of neuroscience and Multiple Sclerosis and his longstanding scientific leadership ” Professor Sir Robert Lechler PMedSci, President of the Academy of Medical Sciences said: "The election of these 46 exceptional biomedical and health researchers is a well-deserved honour.
